Once upon a time...

A young lady living in Lorraine whose parents introduced her to the mountains in the 70s, and who vowed at the age of 8 to come and live there one day...

A gentleman whose Italian parents obtained their French citizenship on the day and in the city where the young lady was born...

A reunion that was bound to happen many years later,

and the birth of a beautiful 2nd life project when the stars finally aligned !

Muriel et Cosimo have dreamt up this project and are delighted to welcome you to their CoMuNREVE guest house, initially composed of 2 guest rooms and eventually 3 (including a family room). The guest house CoMuNREVE dates back to the period of reconstruction and has recently been renovated by its new owners. The work was carried out with the goal of reducing the carbon footprint, by favoring insulation and renewable energies. Situated in a hamlet at 650 m altitude, surrounded by fields and forests, it offers a magnificent view of the Lauzière mountain range.

The concept of a guest house is to welcome guests in a family spirit of sharing and respect. You'll be personally welcomed by the occupants and helped to settle in. Muriel and Cosimo will share their discoveries and good addresses (bike rides, hikes, wellness service providers, local producers, crafts, heritage, etc.) and advise you on how to discover the Hurtières massif, which they have fallen in love with.

A large light-filled living room with sitting area and library, offering a magnificent view of the Lauzière massif, will be at your disposal to encourage exchanges with the occupants of the guest house. You will be able to take your time ... enjoying a local beverage (tea, coffee, herbal tea) or sit out on the terrace.

A shared microwave and fridge are available, as well as a washing machine and a drying rack for our cycling and hiking friends.

Hikers and cyclists have access to a studio where they can wash and repair their equipment and store it safely.

Free on-site parking is also available.

Mona and Spoutnik, our 4-pawed feline friends, and Api, our particularly welcoming Goldendoodle, will be sure to want to be petted along the way !

A hearty breakfast based on local and homemade products, household linen (sheets, towels, etc.) and housekeeping are included in the price of each room. Each room has its own private bathroom.

Cosimo, holder of a NVQ (national vocational qualification) in cooking and of a HACCP training, will offer you every evening a table d'hôte essentially based on fresh, local and organic produce (reservations must be made 48 hours in advance). The table will be shared with all guests and local residents.

Muriel, passionate about cross stitch embroidery, will show you her collection of historics samplers and the books she has published. She'll also be happy to introduce you to this traditional folk art !
